What Janitor AI and HoneyChat offer
Adult content
On the site adult role-play scenarios are part of the platform's culture; filtering is “light” (the service's words from the post of 04.02.2026). In the app it is the opposite: strict mode by default — hidden bots, filtered descriptions, keyword checks on messages. All for the sake of App Store and Google Play rules; the restrictions can be lifted on the site in profile settings.
Age verification
Post of 15 June 2026: users from Brazil, Australia and the United Kingdom will have to pass an age check — a legal requirement, while the service is “fundamentally against KYC for social networks”. “This concerns only IP addresses from these countries… we have no plans to introduce it anywhere else.”
Public chats and data
- Since 31.03.2026 any chat can be published — but only by you, with a button. Published chats are read, forked and reacted to.
- Your own API key or someone else's proxy — your conversation goes to the model provider or to the proxy owner. Free proxies are a known risk: the owner sees everything you write.
- The terms and privacy policy are linked in the site footer; we did not analyse their contents — not verified.
Against HoneyChat
The case for Janitor AI
A public position on privacy and age, an honest explanation of why the app is stricter. An account is needed, but the service asks for no documents outside the three countries.
The case for HoneyChat
No account — no e-mail or phone in a database. Adult content is regulated with five levels rather than different modes on different devices; conversations do not go through third-party proxies.
